Where is my GEDCompare report? [Closed]

Question

please advise - I can't locate my GEDcompare report. - I have as follows:

• no email confirming GEDCompare report ready

• Upload to WikiTree: Complete gbmc35_919884add965cxfc7c4w37.ged was uploaded by Sara Hanley 2017-07-18 12:26:47. The raw GEDCOM is 507393 bytes. It contains 240 individuals with the earliest person born 1390. It includes 18 sources.

  GEDCompare Report: Complete

But no clickable link on same page, under contributions or anywhere else.

ATTENTION JULIE R:  I added "bug" because on Sara's gedcom page there is no link to see the completed gedcompare report.  Thank you for all you do :)

Hi Sara (and Keith),

I'm sorry for the confusion. Although Eowyn or Erin may have already told you this: your GEDCOM processing crashed. A very small percentage of GEDCOMs can't be processed for one reason or another. In your case, it appears to be lines like this:

I'm afraid this won't be easy to fix, unless you can repair it on the exporting side.

Very grateful for your answer, but I had already checked the page you kindly link to, and there is no compare report. My status under #2 is GEDCompare Report: Complete, but there is  no report (the only clickable item on that page is in #1 - a raw GEDCOM file - a text file output of all my imported data.

Hi Sara,

Normally the page Steven directed you to should have a clickable link right next to where it says your report is complete.  I don't know why it doesn't.  I'm going to add the tag "bug" to your post which will bring it to the attention of someone who resolves these things.  Another pro-active step you can take is to email info@wikitree.com and tell them the situation.

I am sure it will be corrected shortly... thank you for being patient.  It will be well worth it :)

I answered my own question, and it was my own fault. My browser was set to private. Once I took it off private my smartphone became smart again! Rookie mistake.
