This is odd, I don't pick up a Isaac Jeter married to Hattie Rose Manning born January 1893, Mills, Texas, instead I find several trees which have Vernon R Jeter 1891-1956 married to a Hattie R Manning with a son called James Elwyn Jeter 1921-2007 and this James was born on 15 September 1921 Mills, Texas and he passed away on 3 April 2007 in Houston, Harris, Texas, USA. It looks like Vernon Robert Jeter was born on the 18 December 1891, Panola, Texas, USA and he passed away on the 14 November 1956 in Longview, Tattnall, Georgia, USA. Vernon's parents are William Malcolm Jeter 1855-1936 and he was married to Ivanona Anderson 1869-1920 (they had about 13 or more children. Vernon Robert Jeter also appears to have had an earlier spouse, a Salena Jeter born 1896-? and there are many records showing Vernon Robert Jeter married to Salena and not married to anyone else, I have not located a marriage certificate for his marriage to Hattie, so I think the various trees I have located are likely to be incorrect.

In 1910 he was 18 years old and working as a labourer on a home farm and was a wage earner, attended school and was able to read and write, he as living at home with his family. In 1920 He was married to Salena Jeter, he was a labourer working at Cumber mill and they rented a home together, he was 28. In 1930 he was 38, a mechanic in a Cotton Oil Mill and he and Salena had James F Jeter living in the house. In 1940 at 48 he was still living with Salena and son James F Jeter who is 18 by then, he owns the home they live in and is a Mechanic. Given both had a son called James the trees all need to be verified.
