Has anyone run across this book while researching WWI Veterans?

I ran across this book while researching a relative who was KIA during WWI:

Volume 1 - https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=hvd.32044088016464;view=1up;seq=1

Volume 2 - https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=hvd.32044103244778;view=1up;seq=9

Volume 3 - https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=nyp.33433081572970;view=1up;seq=11

I haven't looked through all 3 volumes yet, it appears to mainly be for those who were KIA or died of other reasons during service in WWI.  Has photographs of the soldier and they appear to be organized by State.  So far not a big help when it comes to which company they served with or where but it does provide their rank.

Thank you for posting this source. More information and links are here: Soldiers of the Great War.

When we list something like these books, would the author please indicate in the title (or another place easily viewable before clicking on the link), as to which country or ally the book deals with?

It's frustrating to go to a book only to find that it deals with American war dead when my relatives fought for Canada or UK.

Just a thought.

Great book! Thanks. There is also two sets for KIA Great Britain One Officers and one set Enlisted. If any one needs them, I can find the links again.

Please! I have the Glasgow Honored and would like as many as I can find.

Thanks! Eileen
I would be interested - looks like a good resource.  I deal with primarily WWI Canadian Soldiers but have Soldiers of the British Army/Navy (RN Division).

Thanks in advance.

I'll have to look at these. For Canadian research, they have a lot of theirs online now. they are still adding entries (updated every 2 weeks with expected completion the end of this year). The records for each individual are available as a PDF file. http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/ with the WWI section at http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/military-heritage/first-world-war/Pages/introduction.aspx
