Excellent quality for the time period.

What amazes me most about the photo is just how obvious it is they are blood relations!  I don't ever remember seeing a photo which demonstrated likenesses so dramatically.

You should add it into a contest.  Seriously.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment!  My grandmother is at the end of the top row on the right. Another point about the picture is the fact that Nancy Ardena's husband died in 1909 and she was left was 8 little children to raise by herself (one child died in the flu epidemic of 1918) on the farm they owned.  I think they all look so handsome and beautiful in this picture which is a testament to how well she raised them.
