Hello Rebecca.

There are no special requirements for the posts. You have more than two, then just go ahead.

Best of luck !

Hi Rebecca,

You are welcome to use the doc I created for my Pre-1500 badge preparation and subsequent request:

Best wishes and thank you for being a part of our WikiTree family!

To be honest, I and most all others on this website who strive as the wikitree together. Have learned that there is no minimal standard too pre-1500.
You need too have the highest level of "wikitree-style computer markup skills"(which means keeping a profile looking neat, organized, and professional too the highest standards). As well as you need too have a whole lot of patience on your research And retain vasts amount of knowlegde which can really drain that clock. Last but not least, prove that you can collaborate on pre-1500 and pre-1700 profiles too make them as accurate and non fanciful too even an mundane 20th century photo album compared too king Tut. You can do it's just, how much time your willing too spend because you simply just love some Niche of history. practice makes perfect and experience lasts a life time so do it up if you want too try. Just don't get discouraged when, or if the going gets extremely tough. JUST ENJOY XD and go whatch some Kangaroos for awhile, and then come back too it lol.

Rebecca, I am far from an expert and do not have the pre 1500 badge myself but I think the G2G postings will take care of themselves if you are truly collaborating on pre 1700 profiles. I believe that the main factor is the quality of work you do with souring the pre 1700 profiles. I have not even tried to get the pre 1500 badge because i do not feel qualified and I find that finding sources back that far a very daunting task. There is more than enough work to keep me busy for years working on profiles that already exist on WikiTree dated in the 1800's and more recently so I doubt that I would ever try to get that badge myself.

I agree, all the way back too 1500 there is a whole lot of world culture shifts too keep very fun and interesting. XD
Thanks so much, and I've looked and have fulfilled all the requirements except the ones saying I need to comment on G2G and participate in projects.   I'm doing the best I can even though I can't be on a computer 24/7.

Believe it or not... there is life beyond genealogy..DARN !!    Taking care of family and farm just have to get in the way, sometimes, right ?

Love the work and I've become a true history junkie.   I love learning about my really ANCIENT relatives as I fill in the blanks on their pages of my family tree.  GREAT FUN and I wish I'd had this enthusiasm in HS.

Maybe would have made my mother happier.  haha

Thanks much for all the help.

Rebecca
