Is there a way to stay profile manager but drop a profile from your watch list?

I have a number of completed profiles, eg babies who died very young. Birth and death and burial are sourced so there is nothing else to add. I want to stay as profile manager but want to remove them from my watch list or mark them completed.  Can this be done?

This may be why there are so many orphans, because people decided to drop them from watch lists so removed themselves as profile manager. If there was a way to tick a completed profile button this might help.

You can remove your self as manager but stay on the trusted list. I don't know what this does relative to your watchlist, try it and find out.

No.

WikiTree doesn't really have a true "watchlist." It shows you the profiles that you manage, or are on the Trusted list.

If you want to remain a manager, then it will be on your watchlist.

Maybe you can add a note to the BIO saying that there are no further sources for this profile, before you orphan them, otherwise they have to stay on your watch list.

This is why I am reluctant to create profiles for babies that died young. I would just make a note on the parents profiles of those children who died young, rather than make a profile.
