Both his parents are shown as dying in Isle of Wight county, Virginia - his mother died in 1658. So, Hodges came here with his parents between his birth in England in 1647 and his mother's death in 1658 (assuming correct information was given in the profiles).

p.s. I didn't find any passenger lists for that period to Virginia at Olive Tree - http://www.olivetreegenealogy.com/ships/tousa_va.shtml - but if you belong to Ancestry.com, the Olive Tree page mentions that you might find what you're looking for there.

John Council is listed as arriving in Virginia between 1654 and 1663 according to Ancestry.com.

Date and place of intended destination, place of origin or last residence and name of ship may also be provided. Extensive historical information is also provided: HARGREAVES-MAWDSLEY, R. Bristol and America, A Record of the First Settlers in the Colonies of North America, 1654-1685.

John Council is listed as arriving in Virginia in 1660.

COLDHAM, PETER WILSON. The Bristol Registers of Servants Sent to Foreign Plantations, 1654-1686. Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., 1988. 491p.

Happy Hunting,

Karen
