I wanted to share this family photo of Martha Murphy with the community. Location: ST JUDE'S, BETHNAL GREEN.. Date: 1867

Her father is James Moore.

Does this help to merge two possible matches as suggested by Brian Bourne? Moore-40441_possible_match_with_Moore-40460

What are the chances of the married name and the maiden and spouse name being identical on both profiles? I would say slim to none, however seeing as both profiles are not well sourced, I would say that more reseach is needed before a merge.

Yes, thank you Shaun Doust.  That's pretty much how I was thinking when I asked the question.  Plus, I'm in the throes of moving house so have little time for the luxury of genealogy just now.  I included the pic of the census for that reason.  Let's see whether we can firm up this potential match.

It's pretty exciting for me because when I started genealogy my mother was an orphan and my father, a Murphy with no connections.  I've had some help from G2G and things seem to be moving in the right direction. Watch this space!
You go Christine, Great attitude! I'm sure you will make good progress with your Genealogy research! enjoy! and feel free to ask for help at any time.
Thanks for the encouragement, Shaun.  I've had an acquired brain injury and it makes focussing on complex questions quite difficult, especially when I tired.

So, I will feel free to ask for help.  I think the next thing I'll do with our Martha Moore is fill in more of her profile. That should help with those who want a tad more research. Please keep an eye on me; I'm very capable of making mistakes!
It will be a pleasure to help!
