Reversing my error

Question

I merged McElroy-90 into McElroy-89 as a result of which the father is his own son.

John J McElroy was born 3 nov 1903 in Warrington, Cheshire, England.  According to wikitree he married twice, one name being private and the other being Joan M Haigh.

According to http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=ericbrown8&id=I1 he was born on 3 nov 1903 in Warrington and married Emily Barber (his parents being William McElroy and Phoebe Dickinson).

I am sending this to Joshua Thetford and Eric Brown.

Can I do more?

You could remove the son from the father (himself) that would at least make further worl clearer.
