Who is the Lingle you're trying to find a coat of arms for-- they're associated with specific people, not surnames.

Be sure to read up on coats of arms at Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms

In many places, including England, coats of arms were not assigned to families but to specific individuals, and would pass from father to oldest son.

Around the turn of the last century and well into the 20th, it became popular for people in the U.S. to find and "adopt" or claim coats of arms associated with their ancestors. Depending on the heraldry and country, this practice is not legal or officially recognized.

So be careful about assuming that just because someone with your last name had a coat of arms, that doesn't mean it passed down.
