I took a copy of the Norman-130 profile before merging, but find I am still over my head in the post merge environment.
1. The footnotes and sources key off 10 digit numbers. These work great for computers, but are not so easy on this brain.
2. Many of the sources being referencesd are to collections said to contain information about Susannah, but with which I haven't worked. This means that I am not familiar with the claims arising from those sources--I can't know where conflicts arise and/or which claims/conflicts are relevant.* Such is the case with many/most of the sources reporting Ancestry.com as a repository.
*I am able to tell from a quick scan of the data that there are conflicts.
3. :-) I have worked with other collections and source materials about Susannah Norman. Fear my own notes about those materials need to be reworked in order to fit well into the WikiTree "source" and "footnotes" arrangement. Realize that I've apparently been approaching this all wrong.
No doubt patience and a big chunk of time would solve items one and three, but not item two.
Imagine I'm like most of us, would prefer not to delete sources or references contributed by another collaborator. Suggestions?
