Why is 1775 and 1777 in the question. The Battle of Bunker Hill took place in 1775. Why is 1777 also in the question. Are you saying that Mr. Marsh was in the battle but that he died in 1777?
Sorry about the 1777. March child was 18 in 1775 and died there at Bunker Hill.

Here's the head of one family in the area:

I don't believe that that is the right family.

My sources say ? Marsh b 1757 lived across from the Walker family in Townshend, VT. The walker family had a son named Jessran Walker b England in 1757. At 18 they both went to fight at Bunker Hill, The Marsh child died there. Jesse found the Marsh boy cradling his gun. Jesse took the gun b and continued on in the war.

I'm interested in finding the parents of the Marsh child friend of Jesse.

I stated in the beginning I was looking for the name of the Marsh child who lived across from the Walker family in Townshend, VT. I know all about Jesseran as he is my g,g,g,g grandfather.

Familysearch.org has his name as Jessram Walker born 1757 died Townshend, Vermont on 17 June 1813 at age 56.

FamilySearch also has Jesse Walker, Military Service 1 Jan 1777 Townshend, Windham, Vermont. 3 years, Private.

One of Daniel Hemenway's sons, Asa, was in the Battle of Bunker Hill and he is listed on page 700 of the MASSACHUSETTS SOLDIERS AND SAILORS. I wonder if your Mr. Marsh who died in the battle, would be on a similar list, but I don't know where to look for it
