Family of Native Americans/First Nations needs sourcing and/or management

Question

I found a family line purporting to descend from Brave Hawk and Swift Cloud -- no dates, places, or sources. I can't even tell if they are Native Americans or First Nations people from Canada. The manager hasn't participated since 2009, so I'd say they're pretty well abandoned.

This appears to be the more recent family members (granddaugter Mollie, Cica-1, herhusband Alex, Landreaux-3, their son Louie, Landreaux-2) in the 1900 census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MST6-WL1

Looks like Alex was a white man from Canada, Mollie a Lakota/Sioux  from South Dakota.  Might be possible to work backwards from Mollie to source this family, I found them in an 1880 census, but I’m not sure there are Lakota records much before that.  I found a Mollie Swift Cloud in a census, but cannot be the same woman, much too young.  .
