Advice before editing this pre-1700 Harland profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Richard Harland. This is what I can add:Birth death marrieage records

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

There are projects which contain the Harland/Harlan name. They are the Quaker Project, William Penn and Early Pennsylvania Settlers and the England Project two of which that I belong to. I looked at the profiles which do not have profile managers or sources attached. If you are not pre-1700 certified, I can adopt them and collaborate with you.  I don’t know if they are part of my family tree yet or not. My Harlan’s lived in the area of Durham County and in Ireland.
