Hi All-  I am trying to pin down the details for Ann Gardiner-190. I believe she was the daughter of Jasper Tudor and the wife of Robert Browne. I am specifically looking for confirmation on her parentage, marriage to and their children. I see the references at the bottom of the brief biography but currently don't have access to see what they actually state. I am sure they are relevant and enlightening but I would love if someone would be willing to look at these references and let me know what they state?

I'm descended from them, but Anne Gardiner's birth year is wrong and she and Robert Browne are the grandparents of John Browne II.  John Browne I and Thomas Browne are their sons.  I'm not pre-1500 certified so I cannot fix what needs to be fixed and we need to find good documentation.

Thanks so much David. Yes, I am also on the hunt for the elusive confirmation sources. :(  I saw your prior posts asking for a pre-1500 certified person to make some changes to this profile. I will ask again for the same...

Please -would a pre-1500's certified genealogist please make the necessary changes to this profile??

David Hughley makes notes of the needed changed in a comment box on her profile page.

It would be greatly appreciated!

I am searching and I came across this, specifically page 4.

David Hughey-Have you already reviewed this source?

I'd rather double-check with you first before I try to find a copy in case you've already sourced it. Plus, as of right now, I am a Federal employee working without a paycheck. So all extras have to be put on the back burner a bit. :)

Ann Gardiner was *possibly* the daughter of William Gardiner, grocer of London, and Helen or Ellen Tudor; Helen was the bastard daughter of Jasper Tudor, Duke of Bedford. William Gardiner and Helen Tudor had been thought by some to also be parents of Stephen Gardiner, Bishop of Winchester; the evidence is that they were not (they did have a son, Thomas, who became a Benedictine monk and prior of Tynemouth Abbey; there was a case entered by "the children of William Gardiner" for recovering the inheritance portion of Thomas who entered Westminster Abbey).
