Anne Gardiner (living 25 Sep 1485 & 19 Jan 1487/8), was a daughter of:[1]
William Gardiner of London, skinner (will 25 Sep 1485, proved 08 Oct 1485; bur. St. Mildred Poultry, London),[1]
and Helen or Ellen, illegit. dau. of Sir Jasper Tudor.[1]
According to Lewis (2013), her parents married around c. 1475. After her father died, her mother remarried to William Sibson (b. c 1470 - d. a 1502), sometime before c. 1493.[2][3]
Anne was a legatee in her father's will. Magna Carta Ancestry (2011), states that she drops off the record after 19 January 1487. She appears to have been unmarried at that time, as no marriage record is associated with her and her subsequent history is unknown.[4]
Siblings
Anne had four siblings, including (1) brother and three (3) sisters:
Thomas Gardiner (d. abt. 1536), monk at Westminster Abbey in 1493/4, Prior at Blyth, Notts. in 1507 & Tynemouth, Northumberland in 1528.[1]
Some antiquarians conflated Helen Tudor's history and erroneously made her the mother of Stephen Gardiner, Lord Chancellor (Mary I). The chancellor was the son of John Gardiner, cloth maker ... Stephen & his father were of Bury St. Edmonds in Suffolk.

See http://potterwashburnreunion.org/gardner.htm for the history of the Gardner/Gardiner family. It does make reference to Robert and Anne's son John Browne marrying an Alice Illesworth, daughter of Henry (names might be jumbled as I was told Illesworth family never existed, though there were some family names relatively close). Their grandson, Thomas Browne (John's nephew),was an alderman.
https://www.genealogieonline.nl/en/stamboom-de-weger-kuipers/I520615.php lists her as the mother of Robert Browne who was the father of Albert John Browne (which we have listed as John Browne II. Robert Browne, son of Ann Gardiner, died in 1540. This information is also listed on the MyHeritage website
William Gardiner, Citizen & Skinner of London, husband of Ellen (Tudor?) did have a daughter named Anne. She was his youngest child and probably born just before he died in 1485.
I don't know why people think Anne Gardiner was born in 1475 and was married in 1466. How is that even possible?

There seem to be a lot of wrong genealogies out there. Robert Browne's dates are OK, but Anne's off about 35 years. And the child, John Browne, born 1467 isn't even in wikitree.com though his wife is listed as marrying his son John and giving birth to his other son Thomas.
