Henry James Hepburn b circa 1813 died 25 dec 1893

Question

Henry James Hepburn was transported to Tasmania on the ship "Lotus", 20 Dec. 1832.

he fathered a child to Honora O'Brien, whilst married to Caroline Louisa Walbourne. The child was Henry George Hepburn, born 31 August  1851 in Launceston. It seems Henry George was adopted by  a Mr. Thompson. He became a Sorell councillor and the Saddler of Saddler's Court Richmond.. Henry " Thompson", married Eliza Dickenson,( born 1856 - died 27 Feb. 1823. They had10 children.

i have more info, but am interested in acquiring details of Henry James' background.
