Question

I'm very confused about project accounts -- please enlighten me! On this week's suggestion report I have slews of 

Error 935 Unpaired Project Account and ProjectBox

and Error 931 ProjectBox Without Project Account

and similar errors so I went through and removed the project boxes only to find that at least some of them have Virginia Project Wikitree as a profile manager in addition to me. 

I just wanted a category or sticker or whatever (some sort of icon) showing they were from Virginia (and a particular county). I don't see a need to have Virginia Project Wikitree as a manager! So what can I do to straighten things out? i.e., no Va Proj W't as manager plus a sticker of some sort saying they were from X County, Virginia?

Hi! Those DBEs were just released, and they really need the attention of the leaders of the various projects. You're finding that Virginia Project box/account is matching up because the Virginia Project worked through their mismatches already (the re-emphasis on "if project box, then project account" started in 2017... see [this explanation in G2G] that I posted at the time to "point to" when I made changes).  If I recall, you have a number of profiles that Virginia Project (aka WikiTree-41) is on the trusted list for & that's fine so long as you don't have the {{Virginia}} project box displayed. Then there's the {{Virginia Sticker}} that Ros pointed out, which you can add to a profile without needing to add the project account as either a manager or to the trusted list.

P.S. If you don't see the need for WikiTree-41/Virginia Project to be manager AND the profile is not protected (PPP),* then just switch {{Virginia|category=XXnameXX County, Virginia}} to

* If a profile is PPP and it needs to be, it will need a project box/project account to support PPP. If it doesn't need to be protected, ask a Leader to "unlock" it (remove PPP/project protection). The G2G post I mentioned earlier has links for more information about project-protected profiles.
