Philippa Greene Carr didn't have two sons named Caleb.

I made the changes to the biography of Philippa Greene Carr that I suggested earlier this evening. In checking things over I saw that Caleb Carr is twice listed as her son. The one named Caleb Jr. looks correct, the other does not. I clicked on that second one and it said to not do a merge because this is likely a cousin. From what I've seen browsing the Carr Family Records they liked to name their sons Caleb, so being a cousin is likely. This mislinked cousin has no project manager. I'm not willing to take it on and go hunting for the Caleb born on that date to get the right parents. I am interested in unlinking him from Philippa. Do I proceed?

I don't think that Caleb (1683-1753) exists. Certainly not in the Rhode Island Carrs. Neither his birth or death show up at Ancestry or American Ancestors. He's not in the Carr Book. Family search, unfortunately keeps telling me to try later.

He probably should be merged away into the real Caleb

There's not much to merge. Just a few things in the biography referring to something in Ancestry, which Anne B says doesn't match up.

So are you recommending a merge because WikiTree doesn't have a profile delete?
Yes merge because of no delete button. Just dump the ancestry references. and the incorrect dates.
I deleted the previously unmerged match between Carr-3328 and Carr-34. Then I proposed the merge again. I'm not on the trusted list for either side of this merge. The merge process said the managers of both profiles will be notified. But Carr-3328 has no manager.

What's next?
Thank you Paul.
Anne, since I see you are a profile manager of the real Caleb I leave it up to you.
