Did John Peter Stroud have a son named Bernard Stroud born 11/30/1825?

Question

My mother did extensive geneology research before she passed but I haven't been able to confirm it.  My pedigree chart says I am decesended from Col. Jacob Stroud.  Jacob and Elizabeth had John Stroud in 1768, he married Elizabeth DePuy, they had a son John Peter Stroud.  He married Margaretha Walters and they  had a son Bernard Stroud.  This is where I can't confirm the info.  According to the info here (on Wikitree), John Peter Stroud had only one son, Daniel.  According to my mother's info, Bernard Stroud married Rebecca Louder and they had a daughter named Laura Stroud.  She is listed as my great, great grandmother.  Does anyone have any information on this line of the family?  It was quite a surprise to discover I'm not who I thought I was.
