I wanted to share image from our family photo collection of Bud Marable with the community. Location: OS Ranch, Garza County, Texas. Date: 1898. Left to right: Oscar Kelly, Joe Smith, Bud Boren, Hal McCarty, F.E. (Bud) Marable & Willie Williams (on rock). Perhaps someone will be interested in one of the group with my Maternal Grandfather.

Interesting to think how they ended up getting their picture taken. Was there a traveling camera guy? Did they plan to have a guy come out for a photo? What was the cost of a photo in 1898?
