Greetings fellow Wikitree addicts,
I am researching a branch of our common tree. I was told by my grandmother (Trampush-1) that we may be related to Johann Strauss (Strauss-370). He was the famous Austrian composer who composed Tales of the Vienna Woods, among others. Grandma told me that Johann had a mistress with the last name Trabush. So I started looking into it. It turns out that Johann's father, Johann (Strauss-1158) was the Johann Strauss who had a mistress named Emilie Trampusch (Trampusch-2). I was surprised that nobody had researched this family so I have started looking into it. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I still consider myself a novice genealogist.
