Do we have any specialists for or a project which  would cover West Indies/Nevis/Barbados 17th Century? I’m not finding anything, am looking in the wrong places or don’t know under what project category West Indies would fall.

Look for the Calendar of State Papers, Colonial America and West Indies.  The records are digitized, lots of volumes

Does anyone know of a similar collection that covers 1790 - 1810?  Attempting to trace someone from St. Kitts to Trinidad in that period.
Following. Thanks for the link, Kathie Forbes!
Thanks Kathie:  this is all very well and good but I have actual photographs of these people passed down through generations.  How does that tie in?
Not sure I understand your question.  There are no photographs of anyone before the 19th century.  I'm not familiar with other records from the West Indies.

I need help with this too.  I have Roaches, Petersons, Ellis, etc. that were in Barbados for 300 years.  My great-grandad stopped by there in the boar war and married a roach.

People are grabbing my original info on my Barbados ancestors all over the place.  I suggest we have a protected project on this.

I am one of the specialists on this but work alone.

Perhaps a place to start would be a Free Space page of sources? My work in this area has generally been restricted to Quakers in the area for which there are a number of published works of a fair degree of accuracy. While under which umbrella a project might fall was sorted, we could put a resource page under Quakers Project though certainly not restrict it to Quakers.
Thank you T.  I'll work on this but will need help with the Quakers.  My people ended up back in London, US East Coast and here in Canada; they moved out of Barbados shortly after the slave revolt.  Left behind their slaves....
