Susannah (Appley) Langworthy was born about 6 Mar 1740 in Preston, New London, Connecticut Colony, daughter of James William Appley (1711–1759) and Allis (Larrabee) Appley (1710–1786).

Susannah (20) married Robert Langworthy (28) (born on 28 Jul 1731 in Stonington, New London; son of Joseph Langworthy and Elizabeth (Burdick) Langworthy) on 6 Mar 1760 in Plainfield, Windham.[1] [2] Their children were:
