Biography

Walter was born on April 28, 1897 in Missouri, the son of William Blacksher [sic] and Rachel Miller. [1]

Walter Alexander Blacksher registered for the draft for World War I. He listed his birth as April 28, 1895 in Gainesville, MO. He was married. [2]

He died on Dec. 17, 1918 and is buried in Lilly Ridge Cemetery, Ozark County, MO. [1] [3]

The sources all show that his last name was spelled "Blacksher". His last name at birth needs to be updated.
