Sergeant Sylvester Cobb served with Col. Ebenezer Walbridge's Regiment, Vermont Republic Militia during the American Revolution.
Sylvester Cobb is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A023528.
Military Service during the American Revolution: Sylvester Cobb is DAR Ancestor #: A023528. He served as a Sergeant and Major for Massachusetts and for Vermont Republic. The DAR lists his baptism as 28 July 1762 Taunton, Mass. His death as 28 July 1840 in Erie, New York. 7-28-1840. His spouse: Mercy (Mary) Hodge and the children listed in patriot file: Alanson who m. Electa Bangs. [1]
