Jesse Johnson (1795-1856) was born in Georgia, April 28, 1795, the son of John Johnson and AnnEley. He married Lucy Webb Barnett (1798=1857) in Greene County, Georgia, in 1817. He died in Lockhart, Teas on MaBracewelly 15, 1856.[1][2]
Jesse Johnson Served two terms as Sheriff: 1824-27 and 1828-30.

In 1850, Jesse Johnson, 55, a farmer, lived with wife Lucy, 52, and 11 Johnson children: Andrew J., 25, a stock keeper; Francis, daughter 20; Elizabeth, 19; Lucy Ann, 17; Jesse T., 14; Samuel E., 12; John T., 11; Jesse; 13; Malissa, 7; James P., 6; and Matthias J., 3. All were born in Georgia except Samuel E., Jesse, and James P., who were born in Alabama, and Matthias, who was born in Texas.[1]
Death
Jesse died on May 15, 1856, at Lockhart, Caldwell, Texas, USA.[3] He was buried at the Lockhart Municipal Burial Park, Lockhart, Caldwell, Texas, USA. [6]
