Ellen M LONG or LAWN was born on the 8 July 1841 in Harrington, Washington, Maine, United States. She was the daughter of Baptiste Lawn or LONG and Harriet Fickett. She was the couple's fourth child. ^[1]

Marriage

A Mr Luther W NORTON and a person called LAWN announced their intention to marry on the 25 August 1860 in Milbridge, Washington, Maine, United States. The couple were joined in marriage in the house of George GOOGING, Justice of Peace, on the 23 October 1860. ^[2] In 1880, Ellen, 38, was living with her husband, Luther, 38, and their daughter Maggie L, in Brewer, Penobscot, Maine, United States. Maggie was 12. Ellen was keeping home, while Luther was a sailor and Maggie was at school. Everyone, including these people's mothers and fathers, were born in Maine, with the exception of Ellen's father, who was born in Ireland. ^[3]

Death

Ellen passed away on the 19 October 1887 in Maine, United States. She was the wife of Captain Luther W Norton. Her age was 46 years, 3 months and 11 days.
