In the Name of God Amen I John Price of the County of Beaufort & State North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory (Blessed be God) do this 14th day of December in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eighteen hundred & Six make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say
First I lend all the property that I now persess or am in possession of to my beloved WIFE MARGRET as long as she continues single or unmarried and during her natural life if she continues single
Item 2 Then after the Dearth of my wife I give and bequeath one Dollar or ten Shillings unto Each of my Children as follows JOHN Price ELLINOR Booty MARY McKeel THOMAS Rue NATHANIEL Price PHEBY Andrews MARGARET Bennet to be made & paid of my Property
Item3 I give & bequeath unto my well beloved Daughter SUSANAH Price my negro Boy called Ned with two Cows and Calves one Bed and furniture one large Chest and one large Earthen Jar
Item 4 I give unto my Grand Daughter Sophy Munso one Bed and furniture that is to say one Boalster two Pillows two sheats & two Blankets
Item 5 I give unto my Grand Son John Munso one Cow & Calf. The remainder of my stock and furniture after the Dearth of my beloved wife I give and wish to be divided equally between my Son JAMES Price and my Daughter SARAH Munso, and I hereby make and ordain my worthy friend James Williams & Daughter Susanah Price Executor & Executrix of this my last will and testament. In Witness whereof I the said John Price have to this my last will and testament set my Hand and Seal the day and date above written John Price
