Lois, the second daughter named Lois of Ezekiel and Susanna Tuttle, was born 14 Feb 1737/8 in New Haven, Connecticut[1].

"Benjamin Todd Jur: and Lois Tuttle of New Haven were Joyned in marriage unto each other Sepbr 3rd : 1755 by Isaiah Tuttle Juftice of Peace."[2]

"Benjamin Todd Junr: Decd. Novbr: Anno Dom 1755"[2]during the expedition to Crown Point.[3]

James Atwater of Nine partners and widow Lois Todd of New Haven were Joyned in marriage unto each other upon the Ninth Day of December Anno Dom 1756 by Isaiah Tuttle Esq: Juftice of Peace, in New Haven, Conn.[2]

Death of 1762 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut, New England has been suggested. However, the family had long since moved away from New Haven and several of their children were born after 1762.

Children:
The Tuttle Genealogy[4] claims that Lois' first child, Benjamin, was a son of her first husband, Benjamin Todd. The author of "The Todd Family in America"[3] although aware of this, didn't want to commit, one way or the other. The Atwater Genealogies[5][6] do not mention the possibility at all.

Benjamin Atwater was born in 1756[7]. His birth or his baptism were not recorded in New Haven under the name Todd or Atwater, he claims to have been born in Nine Partners, New York[7], and James and Lois were married, in New Haven, Dec 1756[2]. Under the normal course of events Benjamin, if the Todd son, would have been born between June & August 1756. It is also conceivable that the grieving widow sought consolation from James Atwater before their marriage. Benjamin used the name Atwater, and his descendants used the name Atwater, although there is the possibility that he was Benjamin Todd's posthumous son.

James and Lois went to New York and had several children after 1756. I think the death of 1762 and the place must be wrong. It should probably be left empty. The information is unknown. It's not sourced on the profiles. thoughts? objections?
