Biography

William WHEELER was born April 3, 1779 in Derby Twp, New Haven Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Joseph Wheeler and Lucy Smith. William married Lydia Jane Johnson (daughter of Jedediah Johnson Jr. and Lydia Sizer) August 11, 1801. William Wheeler passed away March 2, 1845 in Adrian, Lenawee Co., Michigan. Lydia and William are both buried at Oakland Cemetery.
