Thomas Woodlief was born about 1760 in Virginia, son of Thomas Woodlief (~1730 - 1808) and Norah (Eppes) Woodlief (~1730 - ).

Thomas married Marry Cooper (~1760 - ). Their son was Benjamin Woodlief (~1798 - 1880).

This might be the Thomas who marries Elizabeth Hill Eppes, Page 267.
Warrant for 2,000 acres issued to John May who by Jerman Baker, his attorney, brought in a commission from Robert Dinwiddie to Francis Eppes appointing him a lieutenant in the rgmt. of William Byrd. The warrant had be transferred from Thomas Woodlief who married Elizabeth Hill Eppes, daughter and sole heir of Francis Eppes by his wife Elizabeth Hill. 17 Aug. 1779 Prince George Co.
