Richard Woodson[1] was born about 1695 in Henrico County, Virginia and his parents were Ann (Smith) and Richard Ferris Woodson (Sr).
Richard Woodson (Jr.) married about 1715 in Goochland County, Anne Madelin Michaux, daughter of Abraham Michaux and Susanne Rochette, Huguenots who had settled in Manikin Town in 1701 or 1702. Anne was born in Holland about 1693.

Apparently, he was survived only by two daughters, Agnes and Elizabeth.
