Knight,[1] "Royal Magistrate (Hirðstjóri) and farmer at Skarð á Skarðsströnd, Dalasýsla, Iceland. Was ennobled on 16 May 1457. Killed at 'Rif undir Jökli' (Snæfellsnessýsla, Iceland). In Fitjaannáll it is claimed that he had another illegitemate daughter named Herdís or Helga but her claimed existence is disputed. Espólín claims that he never acknowledged his paternity of Herdís" (Íslendingabók).[2][3][4][5]
