Biography

Atlas Ella Apperley was born 21 May 1921 in Prongua, Saskatchewan, Canada.[1] She was a daughter of Frank Apperley and Mary Ellen Clark.

Atlas married George Hennessy 10 November 1941 in Battleford, Saskatchewan. She later married Bill Mushansky.

Atlas Mushansky passed away 18 September 2012 in Kamloops, British Columbia.[2]

ATLAS ELLA MUSHANSKY

It is with incredible sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Atlas Ella Mushansky (Apperly) announce her passing on September 18, 2012 at the age of 91, she was born in Prongue, Saskatchewan on May 21, 1921.

Atlas was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother as well as a true friend to so many that knew her. She faced life with great strength and unconditional love for her surviving family, Daughter Doreen Phillips (Lee), Granddaughter Crystal Phillips, Grandson Corey Phillips (Debbie), two Great Grandchildren, Cohen and Milan, all of Calgary, Son Wilf Hennessy (Lorna), Grandson Glenn Hennessy, Granddaughter Kathy Kidd (Steve), four Great Grandchildren, Merissa, Cassandra, Zoey and Seth all of Edmonton.

A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date with immediate family in Edmonton. If friends so desire, memorial tributes can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Research Notes

I could not find her on Family Search. However, from a google search, I found an Atlas Ella APPERLEY with matching birth/death information, however, she was married to Bill MUSHANSKY. (https://apperley.ca/getperson.php?personID=I1035&tree=T0001)

Couldn't find her on Ancestry.com either Claus-196 04:49, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

Gerald Apperly
Apperly-19 and Apperley-55 appear to represent the same person because: Atlas is my father's sister. These two profiles include the identical date/place of both birth and death.
