Dea. John Abbot2, born in Andover Nov 2, 1674. He was a farmer, and settled on his father's homestead in Andover. In his early life he was a weaver, selectman of the town, and a useful citizen. He was mild, gentle and humble. He married Elizabeth Harnden of Wilimington Jan 6, 1702-3. He died Jan 1, 1754; and she died Aug 9, 1756 (Antiquarian - p38)
