Katherine (Acre) Miller was a Virginia colonist.

Katherine was born about 1655.[1] Her parents are unproven.

She married Randolph Miller about 1679.

Research Notes

Around 1600 per Geneanet.org the surname Acre is most prominent on the southeast coast of England; around London; and in Yorkshire, England.

I only found one Katherine Acres born about this time in the WORLD (including Virginia): Katherine Acres; Christening on 4/16/1665 at St. Faith under St. Paul, London, England to parents John and Mary (Unknown) Acres.

I assume Katherine's surname could also have been spelled "Acker" (German).

This seems to be the document that is being used to assign the name Acre to the wife of Randolph Miller, based on his being referred to as a Brother. However, that really isn't stated and there is not enough here to presume that to be true. He could also be a half or step-brother, instead of brother-in-law or possibly even just a trusted friend.
