Jacob Adams, son of John Adams and Ann ______, was born about 1753 in Fairfax County, Virginia and died in Oct 1833 In Reddies River, Wilkes County, North Carolina. He married first in 1777 to widow Mary Stamper Towson (1756-1823), widow of Thomas Towson (d. 1776).[1]
Benjamin Adams received his own leasehold of 100 acres. Similar to his father's deed, this one put the term of lease "during the natural live (sic) of him the said Benjamin Adams and his Brother(s) Jacob and Spencer and the longest liver of them." [7][8]
