Jacob Adams, son of John Adams and Ann ______, was born about 1753 in Fairfax County, Virginia and died in Oct 1833 In Reddies River, Wilkes County, North Carolina. He married first in 1777 to widow Mary Stamper Towson (1756-1823), widow of Thomas Towson (d. 1776).[1]
