Biography

He is the son of Eber Addis (1783?) and Elizabeth Crosier, and has 2 brothers and 3 sisters according to the Fayette County, Pennsylvania Vital Records^[1], which also lists his date of birth as June 20, 1817 and his marriage to Sarah as 1840.

Their known children are Thomas, Elizabeth, Samuel, Caroline, Tacy, Joseph and Walter.

He lived with his daughter Caroline at the time of his death in 1902. He is buried in the Dickerson Run-Union Cemetery, Dickerson Run, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, USA^[2]
