Naoma "Amy, Oma or Naomy" ADKINS was born about November 1876 in Wayne County, West Virginia.[1], [2] She is thought to have been the daughter of Canaan ADKINS and his wife, Susan.

Oma's death record shows her parents listed as Mandeville Adkins and Lucinda Farley and her last name as Wiley (being her 2nd spouse's name).

The Dwelling of Canaan ADKINS in the 1880 census record had 3 distinct family groups living within it.
