He married Mary Ann Atkinson, daughter of James Atkinson Esq., of Newcastle,
on the 12 May 1807 at St. Andrew's, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Mary Ann married Maj-Gen. Sir Thomas Bradford K.C.B in 1918.
