Her parents were William D. Akers and Mary A. Hodgden.

She was married 57 years ago to Peter Vanasse of Montreal, Canada, ( Three Rivers) at which time they went into the wilderness of Wisconsin. For nearly 40 years they engaged in the lumber business there.

The couple had six children together: William, George, Thomas, Luther and John Vanasse. Mary Josephine ( Josie) Vanasse

Virginia Agnes Akers Vanasse passed away 13 Feb 1922 in Seattle, King County, Washington, USA. She was buried at the Meyers Falls Cemetery in Kettle Falls, Stevens County, Washington, USA.

Akers-1939 and Akers-1935 appear to represent the same person because: Information is similar, married to same person. Akers-1935 is the lower ID number and has a more complete narrative with sources now.
