Catherine May (Albert) McLennan was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Catherine May Albert was born on October 20, 1900, possibly in Tyndale near Maclean, in the Colony of New South Wales. She was a daughter of Adam Albert (1859–1940) and Rachel Davis (1865–1942), one of at least eleven children born to the couple. Her birth was registered in Maclean.[1]
She married Vivian Clyde McLennan on May 7, 1928 in or near Maclean.[2] He was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. McLennan of Tyndale. They settled on the Lower Clarence where they had three sons and two daughters.[3]
Catherine died on November 16, 1989, aged 89, possibly at Bass Hill Nursing Home.[4]
Her death was registered in Sydney.[5][6] Her name, death date and age are inscribed on a small memorial plaque in Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland, Sutherland Shire, New South Wales.[7]

Mr. Vivian Clyde McLennan, aged 56, died at his residence in Sydney yesterday morning. He was the second son of Mrs. F. A. McLennan, and the late Frank McLennan, of Tyndale. He is survived by his widow, three sons and two daughters.
The late Mr. McLennan spent his early life in the Blaxland's Flat district and the latter portion on the Lower Clarence except for the past 12 months. The funeral will take place in Sydney to-morrow."
