Uncle Dan told us today that Grover and Flossie divorced 3 times. Dan bought their property from his dad, my grandpa, who inherited it from his parents, Grover and Flossie. He discovered the divorces in having the property background traced. Each divorce was mentioned.

My cousins and I have been discussing the pics on this page today. The gas station used as the background here was owned by my great grandparents and was located on the corner of Old US 10 and M-30 in Sanford, MI. We think the dog in the profile pick name was Sport. My Aunt Ruth informed us that at one time, grandpa also owned a sawmill on Huckleberry Road in Sanford, MI. Also mentioned was that he was a hunter in his younger years.

I have only one memory for my great grandfather. I remember going to his house that he shared with Uncle Jack and his family and asking for him. I was told he was laying down in his bed and I ran in there and jumped into his bed with him. The room was dark and I can't remember his face. But he must've been a wonderful man for a small child to go running to him like that. I'd have been 6 when he passed away.
