Biography

Elizabeth Allgood was born on 25th August 1836 in Whitwick, Leicestershire, England and baptised on 2nd October 1836 in the same place. She was the daughter of Read Allgood, a painter and his wife, Ann Robinson. ^[1][2]

In 1841, Elizabeth Allgood (4) was living in North Main Street, Whitwick, Leicestershire, England with her parents, Read Allgood and Ann, and their newborn, as yet unnamed child (2 months). ^[3]

In 1851, Elizabeth Allgood (14) and her parents, Read (37, a petrifactioner) and Ann (a framework knitter) were living in the house of Read's parents, Langley Allgood (71, an artist born in London) and Elizabeth (65, a midwife). Also living with them is William Allgood (20, a coal company sorekeeper), who is Read's brother, and another granddaughter, Sarah Allgood (3, born in Coalville, Leicestershire, England) who was the daughter of Langley Allgood Junior, another brother of Read's. ^[4]

Elizabeth Allgood (a spinster, age 17), the daughter of Read Allgood ( a collier) was married to David Williamson (a batchelor age 19, a collier), the son of John Williamson (a framework knitter), on 12 Feb 1854 at St John the Baptist Anglican Church in Whitwick, Leicestershire, England. ^[5][6]

Children: Mary Ann Williamson Swainston (1859 - 1937) b England, Priscilla Williamson Hay (1869 - 1946) also born England. Elizabeth Addy (21 Jul 1861 - 19 Dec 1939) also born England. Spouse, George Addy.

Elizabeth Allgood Williamson died age 88 on 20th August 1925 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. ^[7]
