Charles Amiot est né le 20 octobre 1651, baptisé le 22 à Québec (ND), fils de Mathieu Amiot dit Villeneufve et de Marie Miville[1], son parrain fut Charles Sevestre, sa marraine Anne Couvent sa grand-mère.

Mariage
Le 22 novembre 1677 à Notre-Dame de Québec, Charles Amyot épousa Rosalie Duquet, fille de feu Denis Duquet et de Catherine Gaultier[2]

8 enfants connus du mariage, dont 1 décédé en bas âge et 5 mariés.[3]

Décès
Charles Amiot dit Villeneuve décède le 23 octobre 1711 et est inhumé le 24 à Québec (ND)[4]

Amiot-171 appears to be their son Gabrielle and not Jean. Review the Quebec, Genealogical Dictionary of Canadian Families (Tanguay Collection), 1608-1890. Gabriel was born August 16, 1690.

Amyot-19 and Amiot-31 appear to represent the same person because: same man and wife etc, merge into Amiot-31 as spelling used at birth
