Daniel Reed Ammerman was born March 2, 1831 in Harrison County, Kentucky, the son of Joseph Ammerman and Rebecca Reed. On February 28, 1854, he married Mary Elizabeth English (1835-1910) [1]; they had seven known children. Daniel died June 19, 1914 and was buried at Battle Grove Cemetery, Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky.
