Florence first appears on the 1881 census at 25 Webb Street, Bristol, Gloucestershire.[2][3]She is living with her family. Alfred Andrews head of household 30 a Railway Signalman and his wife Ellen, 25. There children Florence 5, Edith K. 3 and Eleanor 11 months.
The 1891 census shows us Florence still living with her parents in Bristol.[4][5]Alfred
Andrews head of household age 39 a Railway Signalman, his wife Ellen 35 and there children, Florence 15 a dressmaker, Edith Kate 13 Seamstress Dress, Eleanor 7 scholar, Frederick 4 scholar, and Margaret 2 infant.
Florence Andrews married on 25th December 1900 at Christ Church Barton Hill, Bristol, Gloucestershire.[6] to John Henry Short age 24 father George Short. Florence was 24 father Alfred James Andrews.
Florence appears in the 1911 census,[7][8] She is now living at 7 Lanscore Road, St Thomas, Exeter, Devon with her husband. John Henry Short head of household, 36 married 10 years a Railway Engine Driver, Florence Wife 35 They have had 2 children (both still living) Alfred Geirge Short son 9 at School and John Henry son 7 at school.
Florence passes away in 1918 and can be found on the Death Index as Florence Short age 42 died December quarter 1918 at St Thomas, Devon, volume 5b page 85.[9]
