It is probably safe to merge Angell-2230 and Angell-1388, however I am not certain on how to do this. I have conflicting information as to who to believe. Perhaps we should go with what the Mayflower Society has published in Volume Twenty-Three Part Two "The Family of John Howland" as they have determined that William Angell, (b. 1710-d. after 1758) was the son of James Angell 1682-1742 and Mary Brown 1680-1749.

In my book "GENEALOGY" of the Descendants of Thomas Angell by Avery Angell, printed 1872, page 20, parents of William Angell is listed as James Angell-son of John-son of Thomas Angell 1618-1695. Mother of William is listed as Susannah Wilkinson, daughter of Samuel Wilkinson, son of Lawrence Wilkinson.

Angell-2230 and Angell-1388 appear to represent the same person because: Are there any sources that Susannah Wilinson-17489 was the mother of William Angell? It appears these are duplicates, but the mothers are not matching
