Peter Ankney was born on January 14, 1813 in Somerset, Pennsylvania, United States.[1]
He had 17 children with 2 wives. His son was Isaiah Ankney (1840–1900).
Peter died about July 1, 1897 in Paulding, Ohio, United States, aged about 84. He was buried in Ankney-Blaine Cemetery, Junction, Paulding County, Ohio.[1]
